Summer of Art and Adventure

Illustration commission for Petworth House and Park

I was commissioned by Petworth House and Park to create a collection of illustrations for Summer of Art and Adventure, a children's trail inspired by the paintings of J.M.W. Turner and his love of landscapes and the sea.

The brief was to bring Turner's artistic world to life through a playful nautical adventure, with illustrated scenes, decorative elements and engaging characters to guide children along the trail.

I created a series of illustrations featuring a characterful seagull mascot, supported by playful seafaring characters and details, designed to spark curiosity and encourage young visitors to explore, discover and engage with art and landscape.
